Me: Sorry guys, i have finals all this week
Byrd: oh, you been studying a lot, got ur mind on things?

Math is a whore, ya, that's right, i said it!

sell out [Dec. 8th, 2004|04:51 pm]
[mood | sleepy]

around my little wrist dangles a yellow rubber bracelet that reads LIVESTRONG. how did i fall into it? i dont know, it's not really my fault, my brother bought it for me. anyway, i'm all for the bracelets for what they mean and stuff, but i'm not a big fan of lance amrstrong for leaving his wife and 3 kids, who stuck with him through his cancer, for some hoe. not cool.

it's hump day

my eye has been slightly twitching for the past 2 days, i hope it's lack of sleep and not some new nervous tick.

This is some deep shit. [Dec. 4th, 2004|12:42 am]
[mood | thoughtful]

I saw the movie Closer today. I really liked it, it was a little sexual based, but it's cool, lol. It made u really look at love and think, wow, in the end we really all just get fucked. it's horrible to say but sometimes i feel like it's true. It's sooo rare that u love someone as much as they love you, and to hold their attention so that they don't leave you is tough.

The movie made me think of someone and how much someone's eyes can tell you sooo much.

I'll never forget his eyes. When he looked at me i wanted to look down because i was embarrassed, but i had to look back up because his eyes were...i dont know... breathtaking.
***Sigh***
It sounds lame, but it wasn't. It was perfect.

My step dad has the flu. When guys are sick, they are suuuch babies. I know he's not feelin to hot, but moaning and stuff wont make you any better, it just makes the people taking care of you want to poison your food.

My sister is crazy [Nov. 28th, 2004|07:02 pm]
[mood | amused]

I poked laura in a arm, cause it hurts her more than it hurts the average person, and she chased me up the stairs. I felt like i was hiding from amanda again from when we were like 6, anyway, then laura told me that she had a tazer gun and she wasn't afraid to use it.
At this point i thought she was going alittle too far, but i was so wrong.
Just a second ago she knocked on the door and i hear this buzzing, zapping noise and when i opened the door she held the tazer gun right in front of my face. It was supposed to be scary, but i just laughed, which pissed her off ever more.

I'm scared to go to sleep tonight

My dad gave me this old trumpet from WWI and i'm trying to polish it all up and stuff... it's pretty sweet. A real heir-loom

carrot cake or banananana cream pie? [Nov. 25th, 2004|09:42 pm]
[mood | confused]

Reporting here from sunny florida, where the current temperature is 68 with light winds. I missed the first snow fall which i'm kinda sad about. Kinda sad about some other things too. I guess just really deep in thought about things.

Does anyone really get a kick out of calling random people when your bored? if you say no, ur lying.

I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.

Todd: hey, griswald! where are you going to put a tree that size?
Clark: bend over, and i'll show you.
Todd: you've got a lot of nerve talking to me like that.
Clark: I wasn't talking to YOU!

Oh my gosh, I'm back [Nov. 22nd, 2004|10:59 pm]
[mood | loved]

Wow, ya, it's been a long while. but i'm sure u'r all glad to see that i'm writing in here again! lol. So i just got back from atlanta, AKA HOTlanta. A-town was sweet. i will really never for get it. i'll forsure forget what i learned but no who i met, and how close i got to the people around me. (enough with the sappy stuff...)

Laura O'Steen is now an adult, like a working one. I never thought i would see the day, she just started her second week and is doing fine at MARS advertising.

Can lust turn to love?
I say yes, because at first you are attracted to the person, u talk to them and love their personality. You can forsure then love them. right?

Skunkalicious [Aug. 11th, 2004|10:55 pm]
[mood | crazy]
[music |wanna be my lover, LaBouche]

Alright, so, as all adventures begin, Laura, matt and I were hanging out in the basement. We were enjoying some "jump around" by the house of pain, when our nostrils detected something in the air, it was not something sweet like perfume or gross like matt's farts, it was the distinct smell of skunk. As we walked up the stairs we saw somthing scurry across the floor, with a white strip so softly painted on its back. The skunk was in our house. We ran down the stairs, seeking the shelter of our basement, we shut the glass door behind us. We figured that it came in while i was taking the dog out because i leave the door open. We looked out the glass, French style door to see it wobble pass as we ran back down the stairs screaming. We called our mom about 12 times and when she called us back she didn't believe us because of the somewhat laughter in our voices, but this was serious, real serious. Mom final arived and managed to get the skunk out, getting skunked only once as it went out the door. We made her hose off before she came in, we didnt want her to further stink up the house.

Grand Duke II vs. the Lordship II [Jul. 31st, 2004|10:55 pm]
Laura moved out of her apartment today. You know what that means... we had to switch the old mattress from home with the new one from State. This sounds like an easy task but the Grand Duke had it's own agenda. The Grand Duke was the old piece of cement in our basement not thinking it's time had come to an end, it put up the fight of its life. Laura and I struggled to subdue the uneasy mattress and we finally had success, shoving the Grand Duke II in the dark corner of its time.

The Lordship took it's rein on the kingdom of Laura's bed.

FYI: The mattresses really had names printed on the label. I recommend that everyone get to know there mattress's name.

What if i dont want to say that all i think about is you [Jul. 31st, 2004|01:21 am]
[mood | touched]
[music |Guster, two at a time]

I saw "The Village" today, it was awesome. It wasn't scary like i thought it was going to be, i mean there WERE some freaky parts, but what can i say, i laughed, i cried, i was scared, i was shocked, i was happy. It was an emotional roller coaster. I loved every second of it.

M. Night rocks my world, that goes for you too, Lucious haha.

I'm going to FL on monday, i kinda dont wanna leave, i'm gonna miss everyone. ya, i'm a loser like that.

"I love random love stories" said the hopeless romantic.

I had a great day! Besides the 50 degree weather and the rain (which was explained to me by tom) everything was very nice.

some new developments have occurred on many different levels and to different people. (good thing, ambiguous, but good)

Welcome home caitlin, i missed you.

i know you think it's interesting [Jul. 25th, 2004|12:33 am]
[mood | calm]

When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We confess that we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and call Pluralism.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.
We have abused power and called it politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!"

It might be cheesy, but it's true.
I had a pretty good day today, things are looking up!
